Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga

Ages: Newborn to Nearly Crawling

Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga classes contain dozens of unique yoga postures designed to support baby's development. Each class is filled with calming, nurturing ways to enhance bonding and improve baby's sleep. We work on ways to improve tummy time, work on regulation of body movement and most of all give you an idea of what to do at home to support baby's development.

During a Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga class, babies enjoy yoga while on their backs, tummies, or held in loving arms. For parents, this class is a special opportunity to meet other moms, get support, and learn about baby's emerging personality. Most of the yoga we do in Itsy Bitsy Yoga is for baby.

No yoga experience is required. Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga was created by Helen Garabedian, an Infant Developmental Movement Educator, yoga teacher, and mother. Classes are taught by Kelly LaChance Guertin, a trained certified Itsy Bitsy Yoga Facilitator. Class is 35 minutes.

What Parents are Saying:
Jodi: Doing things from the class at home with my son. Especially the clockwise circling of the legs to help constipation! His not mine.

Sarah: Getting out of the house in the dead of winter and finding a new way to bond with Finn. It was wonderful.

Sarah: That we are still singing and doing the movements 15 months later. Rachel lights up at the songs.

Natalia: I agree with what has been already been posted. My daughter struggled with colic and by the end of the class it has seemed to resolve!

Helena: Learning new songs and things to do with Aubrey. Meeting other moms who I could relate to.

Class begins February 25th; Classes will be held February 25th, March 11th, March 18th & March 25th. Class runs from 1-1:35 pm. (FULL)

    A Special Time

Posted by Blair Dutra on 9th Mar 2023

This was my first class with my daughter and it was a very special time connecting with her through movement and touch. Kelly is so knowledgeable and leads the class in such a caring way. She really created a safe space for us new moms to share things. I'll always remember this great first class experience :)
